Forever 21 x Restyled. Revamped. Reinvented.

Can't believe that it has been four years since Forever 21 entered the Philippine shores. I was so happy when they opened their first flagship store at SM Megamall. I can still remember their first day and people were so excited to get their first dibs. And now, Forever 21 offers a huge selection of hip, trendy clothes and accessories. Forever 21 is my go-to source when it comes to basics and accessories. I have their tank tops and bandage skirts in almost every color, a small collection of rings, earrings, necklaces and a few pairs of shoes.

Now on its fourth year of operations in the Philippines, Forever 21 has become a household name – with 9 stores spread across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, and another one fast on its way within 2014.

In line with this, Forever 21 also had a make over in their SM Megamall branch! I was privilege to attend the relaunch of #FirstxForever and had my first look of the newly renovated store. They are Restyled. Revamped. Reinvented. Gone are the ornate Lucite chandeliers and patterned walls; in their stead, fresh white walls with splashes of black, touches of whitewashed wood and brick, and industrial-inspired shelving provide a clean and chic slate underscoring the veritable fashion playground for which Forever 21 has become known.

Stronger sections for brands-within-brand 21Men, Girls, Active, Basics, Denim, Lingerie, and Forever 21 +, as well as for accessories and shoes, round out the rest of the store’s 2,600-plus square meters.

Share A Coke

I know you've been seeing a lot of #ShareACoke ads everywhere and for me this is one great campaign from Coke. But come to think of it, every campaign of Coke, you know it comes from the heart. And I really appreciate the latest campaign of Share A Coke because it brings the feeling of sharing, appreciation, giving positive words, cheering up a person, and so on with just a bottle of Coke! Loveeeettt!

Coca-Cola has released the most popular Pinoy nicknames, terms of endearment, and group names on personalized Coca-Cola products for a more fun and personal way of sharing a Coke.

I was invited to attend the launching of #ShareACoke and Bench fashion show held at SM Mega Fashion Hall. Among the event’s highlights was a celebration of the long-standing partnership between Coca-Cola and the country’s leading teen clothing brand Bench/. Staying true to the essence of Share a Coke, Vinculado, on behalf of Coca-Cola, shared a Coke with Ben Chan, Chairman and CEO of Bench to show the company’s appreciation for all the years they have worked together.

“We brought Share A Coke to the Philippines with one goal – to share happiness. Sharing a Coke is a simple yet fun and exciting way for us Filipinos to be able to show our appreciation to people who make us happy. For mothers who cook our breakfasts every day, for the fathers who drop off their children to school every morning, for the friends who listen to our never-ending problems, for the manang who serves our food in the cafeteria, for the manong who opens the door for us and wishes us a great day with his bright smile, for everyone who has shown us kindness—we would like to share a Coke with them simply because we know that happiness is made more real when shared.” Vinculado enthuses

This was followed by a fashion show, where models clad in stylized Share a Coke shirts showcased their personalized Coca-Cola bottles and cans on the catwalk. At the same time, they entertained and interacted with the co-models and guests alike by showing them the many ways of sharing a Coke.

The message of the event was simple: Sharing a Coke is a simple yet personal way to show appreciation for people who make you happy. It inspired all attendees to show gratitude for even the small, everyday gestures that otherwise go unnoticed – like how your officemate “Jen” makes work more exciting, how your barkada serves as your second family, how your BFFs provide the best shoulder to lean on, how your kuya is always there to protect you, or how your ‘nay loves you unconditionally.

Coca-Cola Happiness Ambassadors Joseph Marco, Julia Montes, and Enchong Dee gave the audience a blast by sharing personalized Coke cans bearing terms of endearment “Crush,” “Hottie,” and “Love” to some unsuspecting guests.

Kudos to Coca-Cola Philippines for this wonderful idea! Among the bad news that we sometimes get in our day-to-day basis, even in a simple gestures of sharing a Coke with someone, I know it will come a long, long way! I even used it as a birthday present to my friend, hehe! :D Now I'm on a hunt of looking for Coke bottles with Crush, Hottie, Sexy, Ganda on it. I know it will be a cool collection!

The personalized Coke packs are available in sari-sari stores, convenience stores, groceries, supermarkets and even vending machines nationwide. You may also drop by Share a Coke booths in supermarkets, malls and schools to have your own personalized Coca-Cola printed in an instant.

Oh how I love being a woman! Our favorite brand SM Woman released a new collection in time for 2014 Philippine Fashion Week. And what a show! SM Woman opened the 2014 PFW held at SMX Hall with a big bang!

Before the runway show started, SM Woman had a pre-show and a toast to welcome 2014 Philippine Fashion Week!

Ever since its establishment, the SM Women’s department has endeavored to dress every woman at any age, for any occasion. Keeping this same goal in mind, The SM Store brings together its trademark collection of women’s fashion labels under one name:

  SM WOMAN.

Super inlove with the runway set!

From daring digital prints to neoprene, industrial graphics, artistic floral and structured window pane checks, trends come together under a new mega brand, the latest to rock the fashion scene.

The SM WOMAN is constantly in style. She is fashionable. She is a career-driven individual who also loves her leisure time. She is dynamic and exciting, yet casual and relaxed. No matter where she goes, from the city to the boardroom, home, and beyond, every day is a completely new experience.

Enjoyed the show with blogger friends Kai and Kath
