It was last May when I went to the opening of Tenya's first branch in SM Megamall, and now, Tenya just recently opened their third branch in Market! Market! Tenya, being Japan's Number Tempura, is spreading their love to us Filipinos who always crave for Japanese authentic tempura.
The Market! Market! branch is a bit smaller than SM Megamall though. But it still has the cozy feel and vibes that makes them the perfect hang-out for family and friends.
My all-time fave and forever order at Tenya is Asakusa Special Tendon, but I'm glad I was able to try their other dishes like this Spicy Salmon Salad!
First time to try Karaage. And this is their Japanese version of chicken nuggets. I love it's crunchiness!
I already tried the strawberry flavored fruity juicy popsicle. So I decided to try their orange vanilla. They have four flavors to try. 2 down and 2 more to go.
Learned something new at Tenya. Tendon in Japanese means tempura. And tempura can be vegetable, meat or seafood. And you know what makes Tenya Number 1 in Japan? What's their secret? Each dishes relies on the sauce. Yep! The Don Tare sauce is made up of secret ingredients that brings authentic taste of Japanese tempura.
