CRAYOLA SUPERSIZED COLORING BOOK: LEARNING THE FILIPINO CULTURE THROUGH COLORS

ABS-CBN Publishing Inc., (API) successfully launched “Crayola Supersized Coloring Book” last November 27 in Ogalala, Level 4, East Wing of Shangri-la Plaza.

Kids got their drawing tips directly from Mr. Elbert Or, a notable comic book creator, illustrator, graphic designer, and teacher. He’s the creator of the award winning graphic novel anthology, “Mga Kwento Ni Lola Basyang” and the best-selling “The More the Manyer” Series.

The “Crayola Supersized Coloring Book” is a collaboration between ABS-CBN Publishing and International Global Marques (IGM), the local distributor of Crayola. It consists of 15 supersized pages so kids and parents can proudly display the artwork on a fridge or on bedroom walls. It is the first of the 6 book series featuring all-original Filipino characters, Migo and Maya.

The theme of book 1 is Adventure. Every day is an adventure with for siblings Migo and Maya and their pet dog, Bibo who tour Manila's scenic spots - from Intramuros to San Agustin Church, Fort Santiago, Manila Cathedral, Rizal Park and Manila Bay. The illustrations of our culture such as when Migo and Bibo are depicted playing our national sport, “sipa” and having a “sorbetes” break come to life when kids color the pages.

Published by ABS-CBN Publishing, “Crayola Supersized Coloring Book” is the latest addition in ABS-CBN Publishing, Inc.’s successful line of best-selling consumer books.

The book is available in bookstores nationwide priced at 175.
