When I attended this caravan the first thing that came to my mind was, why this was not invented during my time? Ha! Growing up, I used to have lice. Yep, Lice! I think it's very common to girls during elementary days to highschol kasi ang bilis ng hawaan. I remember whenever I see someone na may lice (or lisa in filipino) lumalayo na ako. Feeling ko either nangangati din ako or lilipad din sa akin. Lol! Raise your hand if you had lice, too, during your earlier days.
Did you know that about one-third of elementary public students in the Philippines suffer from head lice-related problems? If there's atleast 50 elementary students in a class and atleast 10 has lice, it can spread quickly, and imagine ilan ang mahahawa nila when they play with their neighbors, relatives and family, and those people also can make hawa to their friends, officemates and so on. Yep, before we know it, mahirap ng macontrol ang hawaan. And if you know a person who has lice or kuto usually people around that person iniiwasan na sya. So tendency is that person can have a lasting psychological damage.
And to help us battle head lice infestation, Lamoiyan Corporation's Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo will be conducting a Nationwide Oplan Alis Kuto as part of its Kilusang Kontra Kuto to educate the public on lice infestation issues. The Licealiz caravan will travel to different schools and baranggays all over the country to hold shampooing programs and lectures for students and their parents.
We went to EM's Signal Village Elementary School to witness the shampooing program and lectures.
Saw some elementary students trying out the Licealiz shampoo and removing the (dead) kuto by using suyod.
And as you can see in the chart, kuto can spread like wildfire! Yikes!
Licealiz is a head lice treatment shampoo that specifically addressed lice and nits. And thank God this product now exist to prevent from lice spreading.
Licealiz can be found at Mercury Drug, groceries and other leading supermarkets nationwide.
