Shopgirl Jen: FIRST POPEYES PHILIPPINES IS NOW OPEN AT ARCOVIA CITY

I rarely attend events, but when I do I make sure it's all about food. Haha! Seriously, who can say no fried chicken? I first heard of Popeyes opening here in the Philippines a few months ago. Na-excite na agad ako and I shared it on Facebook. Why? Because they have the best tasting fried chicken at samahan mo pa ng famous biscuits nila. Yum!!!

Known in the US, Popeyes opened its first Philippine door at ArcoVia City, Pasig (near Landers). I had a privilege to attend their media launch. A lot of our local celebrities where also there to witness the opening. Ansaya! And ang saraaaaap! Haha! Kahit I was not feeling well that day (tasteless buds, huhu), I was able to eat the cajun fries and of course their honey biscuits. Pero syempre nag uwi ako ng fried chicken kasi kahit take out masarap pa din.

Thank God for these people who brought Popeyes to the Philippine shore. I can't wait for them to open more branches esp. in Vertis North. Yaaay!

The first restaurant to open in Metro Manila is taking the Popeyes experience up a notch with new treats—the hazelnut and white chocolate biscuits, two delightful flavors which can be paired with your fried chicken or can be served as dessert, and Popeyes Spaghetti, a sweet, meaty meal that’s exclusive to the Philippines. All these will be available together with other Popeyes favorites: original honey biscuits, Cajun rice, and chicken tenders.
