ONE WORD FOR 2021

It's been months since I posted a personal entry. Tbh, last 2020, I focused more on my social media kaya medyo na neglect ko ang pagpost here..and I miss it. And since new year naman, I want to change that! Here's to posting more blogs, more personal entries of my babbles, recommendations, recipes, and anything under the sun.

Andaming nangyari nung 2020 noh? We started the year full of hope and excitement kung ano ang in store for us, but pandemic happened. We were all locked down and were put in home quarantine. Our movements were limited. But still, I discovered a lot of things for myself. Nagka confident ako kahit papaano to post my simple recipe and cooking. I'm teaching myself food photography, I declutter a lot of things in our house. And as a family, we learned to find joy while we're all stuck at home. But most of all, I am really grateful that my family is healthy.

My prayers for 2021 is of course mawala na ang covid-19, to be more healthy ang family, to discover what I am capable of, and to level-up and upgrade my skills. Prayer ko din is for more opportunities to open for all of us, for you, yes you who are reading this to be more healthier, and for your loved ones to be healthy as well. Let's all believe and have faith that 2021 is still going to be the best year despite the trials and challenges we will face.

I know God has a lot of in store for us kaya let's just enjoy our time with our family. Kasi once everything goes back to norma, papasok na sila, aalis na naman ng bahay, busy na ulit with their personal agendas, traffic na naman and balik na naman sa weekend ang pagsasama sama ng pamilya, d ba?

Nag iisip ako ng 1 word to carry me this year, and ang pumapasok lang sa isip ko is FAITH. Faith to overcome every trials and challenges. I have faith that God will see us through. Anong 1 word nyo that you will carry this year?

2021 also mark my 10 years in the blogsphere. Yes!!! Isang dekada na ang www.shopgirljen.com this January. So grateful for all the opportunities that came our way and still excited for the coming days. I pray that God will use this platform aside sa pagshare on what's happening in the metro, I can also share God's love to you.

Expect great things from this site. Wag na wag bibitiw! Thank you so much for being with me and supporting this blog and all my social media in the past years. I pray that God will bless you a thousand fold.

Have a blessed 2021 to all of us! Cheers!
