The Rail Concept Store, one of the front-runners of the country's streetwear and skate fashion scene, celebrated the grand opening of its 14th store in the country on April 21, 2023. Located at the 3rd Floor of The Block in SM North EDSA, The Rail offers a diverse selection of skateboard decks, streetwear and skate apparel inspired by hip-hop music and culture. The brand houses international brands like Avirex, Defend, Santa Cruz, Illest, Primitive and Maui and Sons–to name a few.
The event was attended by street fashion and lifestyle personalities who were treated to welcome snacks and drinks upon arrival. The Rail's Executive, Neil Solomon, and Marketing Manager, Laika Del Rosario, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the store.
In his message, Neil shared the story behind the ten years of The Rail, their passion for the skate lifestyle, and their vision for the store moving forward to this era of street fashion and culture and their 10th year in business. He expressed his gratitude for the support of those who attended the event and their brand enthusiasts. He also highlighted the launch of WIP Caps at The Rail, which features exclusive designs from a popular local brand that embodies the unique style and culture that The Rail represents.

Guests were also treated to a speech by one of the co-founders of WIP Caps, Mari Torres, who shared his excitement for their latest collaboration with The Rail and showcased their latest styles and collection of meaningfully designed headwear. WIP Caps is a local company that The Rail believed in thus this collaboration happened.

With his passion for music, fashion, arts and street culture, Daniel Padilla continues to support the skateboarding community and local collaborators. His creative team personally designs shirts for The Rail and their latest line of bags were put into the spotlight during the event. These bags are perfectly crafted for the on-the-go and functional yet fashionable street lifestyle. The bags come in different sizes with variations of duffle and tactical tote bags.
Bird. socked the event with fine music
Seasoned artists forming the alternative four-piece band, Bird., played an entire set keeping the vibe to a whole new level. With their distinctly tasteful songs of love, family and career, the band signified this sanctuary for the skate lifestyle where people of different age, gender and status are equally connected by the same passion. After all, The Rail is not just a store but also a community hub for skaters and street culture enthusiasts sharing life perspectives.
