Megaworld Lifestyle Malls emerged among the standout honorees at the 22nd IABC Philippine Quill Awards, earning 12 recognitions across six initiatives, including a Top Award in the Communication Skills Division, one of the highest distinctions at the Philippine Quill Awards.

Across its entries, the company also received five Awards of Excellence and six Awards of Merit for work spanning strategic communication, experiential marketing, sustainability, cultural placemaking, dining, media relations, social media, customer experience, and the creative use of emerging technologies.

Leading this year’s wins was World of Flavors, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ dining campaign that explored the stories, cultures, and people behind the diverse food and flavors across its destinations. Its Audio/Visual entry received the Top Award in the Communication Skills Division, while the campaign also earned Quill Awards in Media Relations and Social Media.

More Than Merry, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ Christmas campaign, received two awards in Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communications and Audio/Visual Communication, including recognition for its use of artificial intelligence in creative storytelling. Wrapped In Style, a sustainability-led Christmas installation created in collaboration with Filipino fashion designer Michael Leyva, repurposed discarded couture materials into festive décor and was recognized under Sustainability Communications, Breakthroughs and Innovations for giving fashion waste a new purpose through creative reuse.

Megaworld townships in the Visayas also earned recognition for bringing some of the region’s most celebrated festivals into its destinations, including Dinagyang in Iloilo, the Cebu Mangoes and Cebu Lechon Festivals in Mactan, and MassKara and the Chicken Inasal Festival in Bacolod.

This regional festival program received two awards in Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communications and Special and Experiential Events. The Cebu Lechon Festival at The Mactan Newtown also earned two awards, highlighting Cebu’s distinct roasting traditions, culinary talent, and communities through an immersive celebration of food and heritage.

Rounding out the honors was Paw Club Access, the country’s first digital loyalty and rewards platform designed specifically for pet owners, recognized under Customer Relations for creating a more seamless pet-friendly mall experience through rewards, dedicated pet access, amenities, and community engagement.

“We continue to shape lifestyle destinations that evolve with the needs of our customers and communities. These recognitions reinforce our commitment to creating experiences and connections that make our malls more relevant to everyday life and more meaningful to the communities we serve,” said Graham Coates, First Vice President and Head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
