For twenty-six years, Dita Sandico Ong has been designing artful
fashion pieces well-loved by many women all over the world. This February, she
brings to us a different kind of art – something that is not just seen on the
surface, but one that touches us on a soulful level. She brings to us the art
of drinking tea. Tea, a line of
floral tea leaves, will be launched this February in celebration of the Chinese
New Year.
Real tea leaves from the most aromatic flowers, Jasmine, Rose,
Michelia Champaca, Lavender and Chrysanthemum, will now be readily available to
the young and old souls of Manila. She brings to us designer blends of floral
teas inspired by famous historical women. As these different cultures and
ingredients from all over the world merge, we have a fusion of sensory flavors
to feast upon. Take in the bright oranges and deep purples of the new DSO
collection, breathe in the fragrances of floral tea leaves, be enthused by the
stories of the women behind each blend, and let the power of Tea stir the depths of your soul.
Tea will be launched on February 1, Wednesday,
in the DSO boutique on Wilson Ave., San Juan, Greenhills at 4 in the afternoon.
