I had the privilege to witness the launching of The Body Shop Pulse Store located at SM Mall of Asia. Upon receiving the invitation, na curious agad ako why/what is pulse.
PULSE: WHAT IS IT?
Interactive, forward-thinking and focused on beauty
and community, our new Pulse boutiques are set to bring The Body Shop to a
whole new generation of beauty-centric, values-savvy individuals.
Incorporating cutting edge design, top quality
materials and natural imagery, the boutique-style Pulse store creates a warm,
welcoming space to excite and enthuse people about The Body Shop products and
Values.
Taking centre stage in every Pulse store are two
natural, wooden Story Selling Tables containing products, make-up and a ‘create
your own gift’ area. Acting as a dedicated interactive ‘island’ which invites
customers to touch, smell and test products, the tables are a place for people
to engage with store teams, discover new products and learn about The Body Shop
Values.
I personally love this. Ang cool that The Body Shop gave me one. Woot! :)
Love the new packaging!
I wanna try this!
More reasons to love The Body Shop!
The
Pulse stores reflect the five core Values at The Body Shop – Protect The
Planet, Activate Self Esteem, Defend Human Rights, Support Community Fair Trade
and Against Animal Testing.

International
Brand Director, Ann Massal, says: “Pulse
is a heartbeat in the community. It is where Beauty With Heart comes to life
through our Community Fair Trade products, our passionate teams, and through
our community and values walls which allow for consumer engagement and
interaction.”
Each
Pulse store will host an interactive area to inform about our global activities
with our Community Fair Trade partners, and encourage both staff and customers
to get involved in local events. With a
world map highlighting places where The Body Shop has Community Fair Trade
partnerships, a bulletin board to advertise local volunteering events and
campaign posters and information, the Community Wall acts as a place where
communities can come together.
