Happy Bread Day with Gardenia

A week ago, I joined the celebration of World Bread Day with Gardenia held at Glorietta Activity Center. It was my 1st time to attend such event na super overflowing ang bread. From every corner of the activity center, different spreads and all kinds of Gardenia breads were present. And good news was, free taste sya!

Now on its third straight year, Gardenia’s “Happy Bread Day” celebrates the role of bread for everyone’s daily nutritional—and even emotional— nourishment. “Happy Bread Day” is also Gardenia’s own way of reminding Pinoys to have fun and show their love for bread in line with the celebration of “World Bread Day” held every October 16 where all bread lovers the world over share the goodness of bread while advocating the “sharing” and “breaking” of bread as a significant and symbolic humanitarian act.

This year, all families, friends and anyone who just love to eat bread will truly have fun as Gardenia opens the gates of Bread Town, an overwhelming realm full of fun activities, prizes, games, surprises and overflowing breads. The event is made even bigger as Gardenia holds the finale of the Next Big Sandwich Hit, a sandwich-making and business idea generation competition among students from 10 different colleges and universities taking up either Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM) or Culinary courses.

Two thumbs-up for you, Gardenia!
