MANGO Fall/Winter ’13 Rocks It Up!

MANGO Philippines took the Philippine fashion scene by storm last week when they opened their flagship store in Mall of Asia. At the opening, they launched the Fall/Winter ’13 line, where they featured not only the women’s collection, but also H.E. by MANGO and TOUCH. Long-time fans and followers of the brand can also expect refreshing additions in the form of their latest concepts, MANGO Kids and MANGO Sport&Intimates.

The brand has expanded to a full-blown fashion empire, now introducing product extensions in the form of new concepts: H.E. by MANGO, TOUCH, Kids, and Sport&Intimates.

MANGO Sport&Intimates, on the other hand, brings in premium active wear and undergarments. Catering to the sensual and fitness-savvy woman is a range of pants, shorts, tops, and sweaters that encourage flexibility and freedom of movement, whatever your fitness regimen.

And dito talaga ako na excite! MANGO Kids offers fun, fashionable choices for children from 3 to 12. Showcasing everyday basics and more on-trend garments, it also incorporates miniature versions from the women’s collection, aptly called the “Mini Me” line. Young boys and girls can check out a wealth of choices from tees and jeans to footwear and accessories.

Composed of MANGO’s Suit, Casual-Sport, and Jeans collections, the Fall/Winter line channels many sartorial influences. Focused on the punk and grunge movements, trousers, dresses, and sweaters also display British mod, dark bohemian, and androgynous elements.

Shiny sequined blazers, beaded shifts and ruched evening gowns make up the evening collection. Suit separates in navy, one of the season’s hottest shades, pinstripes, houndstooth, and checks go with anything, from ripped and bleached denim to vinyl micro minis. Finally, floral-print bomber jackets, slacks, and dresses capture the faded luxe vibe perfectly.

Actor Troy Montero with wife Aubrey Miles and their son also graced the runway show.

Day or night, MANGO’s Fall/Winter collection offers choices for just about any occasion. Almost 15 years after it opened its first store in the country, MANGO continues to grow its sartorial influence as purveyors of trendy and timeless pieces with unbelievable ease.

MANGO is available in 25 stores in Metro Manila and key provincial cities. H.E. by MANGO and MANGO TOUCH have four and six stores, respectively. Meanwhile, Kids and Sport&Intimates are housed in the flagship store in SM Mall of Asia.
