We've all known and love Baskin Robbins and through the years, all they give is non-stop pleasure and excitement in all their 31 flavors with their premium ice cream. They've been indulging us for 70 years! And in line with this, they recently mark two significant milestones as they celebrate its first year in the Philippines by launching the BR 31 Smiles Project, a CSR campaign providing free cleft lip reconstructive surgery to 31 children in partnership with the renowned charitable foundation, Operation Smile and launching of their mouth-watering lineup of Cookie Sundaes.
The big event was held in their Greenbelt 5 branch where they welcomed beneficiaries of BR 31 Smiles Project, The campaign is intended to bring back the smile of children with cleft lip and cleft palate through free reconstructive surgery, funded of course by Baskin Robbins Philippines. The number 31 is symbolic for the brand as it is known for carrying 31 flavors of ice cream.
During the event Baskin Robbins also introduced a delicious new lineup of indulgent Cookie Sundaes. It's a premium Baskin Robbins ice cream deliciously paired with warm, chewy cookies and topped with sundae toppings. They're now available in all Baskin Robbins branches and you can also create and indulgent sundaes customized to your liking by choosing from a selection of warm and chewy White Chunk Macadamia, Dark Chocolate Chunk and Double Fudge Cookies to serve with up to two of their favorite Baskin Robbins ice cream flavors. The Warm Cookies Ice Cream Sundae can be topped with hot fudge, praline caramel sauce, candy pieces, cookie pieces, whipped cream and cherries.
Over the past 70 years, Baskin Robbins has brought 31 ice cream flavors to the world and I can't believe they just started as a neighborhood ice cream shop in California in 1945. And they now have more than 7,500 locations in nearly 50 countries worldwide.
I'm seriously drooling over this Cookie Sundae while I'm writing this post. Heh. Seriously, their yummy and they found their way to make my palate and tummy happy. Can't wait to go back to Baskin Robbins to spoil myself with this.
