Laura Mercier Workshop

I had an opportunity to attend Laura Mercier's workshop held at East Cafe, Rustans, Makati. Thanks Ms. Sarah for inviting me! :)

I've been a fan of Laura Mercier products since college. I can still remember the "agawan" with my tita's and cousins whenever my balikbayan packages na dumadating. Hoping that my Laura Mercier na kasama haha! :D

Anyway, I'm so glad I attended the workshop. I learned a lot from their guest make-up artist Qua and Laura Mercier's resident make-up artist as well. I'm fond of using and buying make-up and all essentials. I love make-up and I have a few collections too, pero I don't know if I have to use everything like BB Creams, foundation, concealer, moisturizer, etc all in one. Honestly, I'm a face powder, blush on/bronzer, lipstick, eyeliner(depende sa occasion) type of person. Si JLO kasi ang peg ko haha! Brown lang lahat and minimal. I love reading fashion and beauty magazines. But nothing beats attending a workshop and learning new tricks and how to's!

Now, I'm excited to arrange my make up kit again and experiment with some of them.

Sarah as the mowdel and guest MUP artist Qua  :))

Their latest this Holiday season! :)

Nail polish will be available next year! I love the color!

Love all the food they served!

Of course the workshop will not be complete without a side trip to Laura Mercier's stall in Glorietta. It's a make-up haven!! They have eveything for every skin type! :)))

It was a fun event especially when you get to hang out with all these girls! :) Say HI! to them!

with Bec and our loot bag haha! :))

with Angel and her candle!

with Keigh!

with guest MUP Qua. Sobra syang nakakatawa! Kaya katulad ng sabi ni Paxie, best in participation lahat! haha!

Thank you again Ms. Sarah for inviting me! Doesn't she look gorgeous? I love the hair! :) And oh, speaking of Sarah and Paxie, please vote for them HERE for their Coach Poppy Flower Blogger Challenge Poll :)

My classmates that day! Haha! Ava, Keigh, Gie, Angel, Arnie, Ana and Belle! :)

Thank you Laura Mercier for this generous loot bag! What an early Christmas gift! Yay! :))

Thanks again Sarah and Laura Mercier for having me! :))

How about you, loves? What's your beauty and make-up essential? Feel free to share! :)

Make Me Over: A Fashion Talk

I had an opportunity to attend the Make Me Over: A Fashion Talk and Make-Over Session with Eunice Lucero, Preview Magazine's Associate Editor held at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Shangrila Mall. Ms. Lucero talked about the Trends for Spring/Summer 2012! As early as now, it's better if alam mo na kung ano ang what's hot and what's not next season! :)

Out with the old and in with the new- the concept behind The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf’s latest brunch series- Small Talks for Big Changes in its last leg and brings everyone up-to-speed with the latest from the Philippine fashion scene.

To be honest, I was really excited to attend this! Para kang nasa workshop! I was so glued and taking mental notes sa lahat ng sinasabi nya haha!

She said, Two-toned hair is the next big thing! Top part dark and bottom part light. I don't know if I will have the guts to do this! Haha! Would you?

Can't help but admire her blazer! Me LIKEY!! She said it's from The Ramp! Cool noh? Parang poncho/cape.

Pati ang pag part ng hair nakikiuso din! hehe! :D Center parts or Slicked-back will be in next season.

Next, she talked about the face naman. Stained cheeks ang in next season. Also, pore less skin, white eye shadow and flat bright lips (no pictures).

Since I have no pictures to show you.. I will share to you what I have learned that day. Ms. Lucero said, when it comes to fashion, the next trend will be sporty type, retro, laduree pastel and floral printed fabrics!

Anyway, it was generous of Coffee Bean to host our Coffee and Tea time!

The series is a part of the brand’s Great Exchange program, an on-going trade-in event that highlights The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's new single-serve system, the CBTL. Dubbed as the future of coffee and tea, this personal barista makes it possible for coffee and tea aficionados to enjoy more than 70 varieties of their favourite The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf drink at the comfort of their own home, and with just a touch of a button.

Thanks again Jules for inviting me! :))

Ms. Eunice stated that hindi lahat ng trends bagay sa iyo. You have to get to know what style will suit you best. Be more creative and don't forget to explore, explore, Explore! Exciting, right?

Since 2011 is only a few days away, do you know what trend you will be sporting next season? Who's your peg? Feel free to share your thoughts! :))

Choose your style and don't forget to SMILE!! :D

Coca Cola x Araneta Center Christmas Tree Lighting

Shake it up
Shake up the happiness
Wake it up
Wake up the happiness
Come on y'all
It's Christmas time

Napakanta ka din? haha! Anyway, thanks to Sai, I had the opportunity to go to the lighting ceremony of the giant Christmas Tree courtesy of Coca Cola and Smart Araneta Center. Though we came in late because we (with Kai) came from another event, seeing the giant Christmas tree lighted up, we literally stopped walking from the footbridge and admired all the lights :)

I remember when we were still kids, highlight ng Christmas namin (me and my sisters) ang mag punta sa giant Christmas tree and magpa picture haha! I'm so glad they are still keeping the tradition. Araneta Center and Cubao will never be the same pag nawala ang giant Christmas tree. Don't you agree?

The Araneta Coliseum parking lot once again magically transformed into one merry Christmasville where people celebrated happy moments as one. The young, the young at heart, barangays, barkadas, kapuso, kapatid, kapamilya and everyone in between came together for a worthwhile time of sharing and to usher in a happy holiday season at the Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan and the annual Araneta Center Giant Tree Lighting.

Of course, the heart of the occasion remained to be the traditional lighting of the Araneta Center giant Christmas tree, which was made grander and even more sparkling this year. In fact, it’s the 30th year this custom was celebrated. Standing at almost 100ft. this year’s tree is bedecked with more than 10, 000 lights and hundreds of stars and Coca-Cola Christmas balls, with huge ribbons and colorful gift boxes as accents. Through the years, it has been a beacon of hope among the Filipinos; a most cherished icon that signals the beginning of the holiday season and reminds us to always believe in the magic and happiness it brings, the same way Coca-Cola inspires.

We brought along Sofi with me. Sobrang excited sya that day when she learned that she'll be seeing the giant Christmas tree. Too bad she was not able to witness the fireworks :( Nagpicture picture na lang kami hehe :p

Wacky pic with tita Kai hahaha!

Thank you Sai for inviting us! mwah! :)

When Sofi and I passed by earlier in Cubao, I told her that we will stop by next time sa giant Christmas tree and magpi-picture sya under the tree. Aba na excite agad! haha! I know someday Sofi will cherish it.

Thank you Coca Cola for the invite and Araneta Center for keeping up with the Filipino tradition and for my childhood memories too! :)

Don't forget to visit the giant Christmas tree with your family!

Ok! Now let's sing this!! :))
