Paseo Verde Will Soon Rise to Meet Condo Living Demands

According to data from the Department of Tourism, International tourist arrivals to the Philippines from January to August of 2013 grew to 3.18 million from 2.85 million for the same period a year earlier. By the year 2016, the Philippine government targets 10 million international tourist arrivals, and to serve this growing market, 20,000 new rooms must be built by then.

That only means more condo units must be developed to meet that demand.  That’s good news to our country right?  If you’re one of those who are sourcing out your own abode and might be thinking the supply for quality and comfortable living is not enough, fret not, LEED Inc. is here to be of service.

The construction of LEED Inc.’s first project, Paseo Verde in Real, remains on track as construction goes full-swing to complete the first tower of the 1.1-hectare mid-rise condominium project.

Reasons why condo-living rocks

Condos aren't mansions, but they are a perfect lifestyle fit for some, especially the younger generation that's always on the go. Sure, it’s less space, but they’re chock full of goodness. Condominiums you say? Nay. They are Condomaximums!

Here's a few reasons why condo-living rocks:

BE SOCIABLE
Living in a condo building you’ll naturally be around more people. Since units are closer together and there are many more common areas like party rooms, fitness centers, and pools, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to meet your neighbors and kick it.

GET CLOSER TO THE ACTION
You’re a mover and a shaker. You need to be knee-deep in the action and the condo life brings you closer to restaurants, bars, theaters, and many other city-centric events and shows. In a country full of commutes, you’ll perpetually be less than 20 minutes away from everything.

LOCK IT, THEN ROCKET
A condo is like life before kids. It used to be so easy to spontaneously decide to go to dinner and drinks with the wife. 3 kids later? It takes 25 minutes just to get in the car. That’s a house. You can’t just leave a house. A condo though? Lock it up and head to Europe for a month.

EXCEPTIONAL AMENITIES
Condos feature amenities for all residents including recreational facilities, fitness centers, as well as pools. Plus, with the homeowners association dealing with all the maintenance affairs, all you can do is enjoy.

MAXIMUM SECURITY
Still afraid of the dark? I don’t blame you--it’s terrifying. But it’s nothing that the locked-down, buttoned-up security of a condo building can’t fix for you. With keyed entrances, on duty security, and security cameras, it’ll take an Ocean’s Eleven-type heist to get anywhere near your authentic Darth Vader replica costume. All that security leads to fewer break-ins and a warm, fuzzy feeling inside.

BE ECO-FRIENDLY
Walk, bike, and ride public transportation around the city with a clear conscience. It won’t be your car emissions that’ll be body-slamming Mother Earth to death.

NEIGHBORLY ASSISTANCE
Unlike the death trappiness of a home, you’re never far from people in your condo building. This really pays off when you have an emergency--like that time you got your foot stuck in the toilet.

LOOK MA, NO UPKEEP
For those that hate mowing the lawn, pulling weeds, repainting the house, or doing other chores associated with homeownership, it simply makes more sense to live in a condo. Plus, smaller spaces doesn’t require much electricity, so the inexpensive utility bills are also a welcome advantage.

Convinced? Good. Do yourself a favor and sit back, relax, and rock a condo to the max with SM Supermall's SHOP & WIN PROMO, with 10 lucky shoppers winning 10 fully-furnished SMDC condominium units!

Get a chance to win with every Php1000 purchase at any SM Supermall. Just present the receipt with an SM Advantage Card, E-Plus Card, BDO Rewards Card, or SM Prestige Card. Raffle entries are doubled when a customer presents an E-Plus Loyalty Card.

Paseo Verde in the South

Education is the most important inheritance a parent can give to their children, with proper guidance and right up bringing,  a child can never go wrong with his or her decisions. This holds true in   the case of these two students.  At a very young age they persuaded their parents to buy them a condominium unit at Paseo Verde in Las Piñas City.

A mid rise condominium located South of Metro Manila interest the two students, Doreen Joy Rosell and Maria Jessica Bello both students from FEU,  because of its unique features that Paseo Verde offers to its unit owners. The bike facilities and electronic bike charging is just one feature that the condominium offers, it also has park and play ground of its own located in its premises. Plus the certified accreditation by the Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence (BERDE) and a member of the Philippine Green Building Council for its steps toward promoting a sustainable community.

Presently, the  awareness in promoting and living in an eco friendly place is the current fad among young people today. They want to give their contribution in protecting the environment and helping it in their own way.

One of the student said that “It is nice to live in a place where you can see trees and green grasses outside your window and gives you the feeling that you’re away from the city.”

The other lass said “South is the place that are being heavily developed, soon it will or might become the new business hub, since most of the place in Metro Manila is already full. The opportunity could be right here.  And this is not a loss it could also be a gain for me, because I see this as my first investment.”

In the end, they are positively sure that after they graduated and find the right job, they know that it’s their turn to pay the rest of the monthly payment.

Small space, big impression

More and more people are now embracing condo living due to its affordability and convenience. But one of the most common trade-offs is comfort. Most condo units are small and do not have enough room for you to create a living space you can call your own.

Below are a few tips and tricks from Mandaue Foam Furniture Store on how you can make the most out of your condo unit without sacrificing comfort and functionality.

Let the light in. Light is a key element in opening up a room. Avoid heavy curtains and draperies and use blinds or sheer curtains instead. These will allow natural light in and still give the privacy you need. Artificial lighting is another option but opt for slim and tall lamps, wall mounted fixtures or light pendants to add illumination and ambiance without eating up too much space.

Beds with pull out drawers at the bottom are a great way to save on closet space.

Use light colors.  A lighter hue on your walls and ceiling is another way to open up a room. Blocks of neutral shades like white, cream or pastels reflect light are your best options. Using a single color scheme for the other rooms will also help dissolve the division. Avoid dark colors or patterned wallpapers as these will make a small room even smaller. Accessories would be your best option to brighten up your room and give it personality.

A lighter hue on walls and ceiling opens up a room. Also, keep your accessories to the bare minimum and remember that these are just

Less in More. Clutter and overcrowding makes a room feel small and stuffy. You should first focus on the basic pieces needed in a particular room, like the bed in the bedroom and the dining set in the dining area, before adding decorative elements. Do keep your accessories to the bare minimum and remember that these are just to highlight and not compete with the main furniture.

Go multi-purpose. Nothing can save you more precious space than multi-functional furniture. Go for items that can be used in different ways like an ottoman which can be used for sitting and storage at the same time, or a modular sofa which can also be rearranged as individual seating when you have guests. Beds with pull out drawers at the bottom are also a great way to save on closet space.

Customize! When moving into a new space, we often concentrate on the floor area but another option is to have storage built onto the wall or overhead. This can be cupboards integrated with your kitchen appliances or overhead storage or dresser designed to efficiently accommodate the bed. Customized furniture may be a bit more costly, but the extra space you free up will give you more room to move around and will be worth the extra expense.

Mirrors, mirrors on the wall. One of the best ways to decorate and open up a space is by using mirrors. Large mirrors are effective room expanders. It can lengthen a short room or widen a narrow area. Placed strategically, mirrors can also reflect light as well as attractive elements in the room like a window, another room or a favorite artwork.

Mirrors expands the room by lengthening a short room or widening a narrow area.

Condo living need not be a choice between comfort and convenience. By adapting a few tips and tricks from the furniture expert, and a little creativity, you can definitely look forward to living in a place you can call home.
