Anyway, it's Day 5 of the Philippine Fashion Week. I went to the SM Ladies Fashion Show last tuesday. I'm eyeing a lot of pieces from their Shopzine! Can't wait to drop by at SM to see the actual pieces. Go there too because I know you'll find something you'll love from their latest collection.

We (me and Kai) were supposed to go there last night at SMX, but decided to skip it the last minute. But will go there again later  for Chris Diaz' show. If you are planning to drop by tonight at the PFW and you see me, don't forget to say HI! owkie? :)

MTV Exit: Media Conference

Thanks to Keigh, I had an opportunity to attend the MTV Exit held last week at the Crowne Plaza, Ortigas with my fellow bloggers. It really was an interesting event & a wake up call especially for me, since, it tackled the issue against Human Trafficking.

The MTV Exit (End Exploitation and Trafficking) campaign is an award winning multi-media initiative to raise awareness and increase prevention of human trafficking and exploitation.

Schedule of speakers at the event!

Matt Love, MTV Exit Campaign Director

Justice Secretary Leila de Lima gave an inspiring speech. I'm glad the Philippine government is taking part of this campaign.

In behalf of US Ambassador Harry Thomas, Reed Aeschliman, Acting Mission Director gave a speech as well. In support with this worldwide campaign.

Elaine Ward, in behalf of Australian Ambassador for the Philippines, Rod Smith.

Representing the Visayan Forum Foundation of the Philippines, Jerome Alcantara.

You see, I know what Human Trafficking is and what they do especially to girls and women. But after we watched the mini documentary, Enslaved, I never thought that Human Trafficking can be so rampant & how easy it is to be a victim.

After watching the documentary, my heart grieved to all the stories that I've heard. Hindi ko ma-imagine ang mga pinagdaanan nila :( Even their trusted relatives were involved too.

These girls were all innocent. Ang gusto lang nila is maiahon sa kahirapan ang kanilang pamilya.

I'm glad MTV is behind this campaign. So all of us can be aware of what is really happening & stop this inhumane activity.

They also introduced celebrity actor Dingdong Dantes as MTV Exit Ambassador to the Philippines.

In line with this campaign, MTV Exit will hold a FREE CONCERT in SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on October 29, 2011 at 6pm. Featuring Jay Park, Evaline, Parokya ni Edgar, Pupil and more!

present: Keigh (thanks again keigh!), Nicole, Tracy, Ava, Angel and me

Go mark your calendar loves on October 29. Not only you'll watch a free concert, but you will also be supporting th MTV Exit Campaign!

Let's all remember this: Filipinos are not for sale! Girls & women are not for sale We can change our world! :)

Outfit Diary: Black in disguise

top: Forever 21
blazer: The Landmark
skirt: Never Been Kissed
shoes: SM Parisian wedges
bag: SM Department Store

This is what I wore when I went to the Appetite Restaurant Festival 2011 (read it here). Since it's a food festival, I decided to wear my black top to disguised the belly! haha! And of course, I used the blazer to cover up my kabusugan! :D

Good thing though, because I ate a lot that night! Who can say no to free food? To complete the look, I decided to wear my animal print bandage skirt with my SM Parisian wedges. I really love this wedges. I hope SM will sell them again! I got them last year. :)

Food! Who can resist food? I know I can't! That's why I am so thankful that I had an opportunity to attend the Appetite Restaurant 2011 held at Shangri-la Plaza, Edsa. Went to the event with Tin & Kai. Good food + Good friends = Fun night!

Appetite Food Magazine together with Shangri-la Plaza tied up with restaurants like C2, Claw Daddy, Pepper Lunch, Secret Recipe, CYMA, Green Tomato, Lemongrass, Cravings, Sing, Pages Deli, Cafe Provencal, Crustasia.

It was really a feast for me to try all these food! I waved goodbye to my diet the moment I entered the venue! haha!

The set up was cocktail and we just lined up to get the food we want! Iced tea drinks were over-flowing!

I tell you, sobrang sarap lahat! Looking at these pics again nakaka crave ulet! Yum!

Tried Cravings' mango crepe, salad & Claw Daddy's chicken!

Apple pie from Cafe Provencal! Shocks! Parang nalalasahan ko pa!!

Tried this from Cyma. Para syang pasta na may eggplant! One of my fave that night! :)

Chocolate cake, anyone? No to diet! hahaha!! :D

Ang cool kasi we have a passport pa!

Out of 13 Restos, I only ate 6! Looking back, sana kinainan ko lahat haha! :)))

I was able to meet Paula of When in Manila

We shared the table with Dra. Maris Sabater-Paredes and her mom, who happens to be the best friend of Appetite EIC. Hi Dra. Maris! I really loved your shoes that night esp. with your nail polish! Cool!! (She love reading blogs! How cool is that?)

And finally met my Good morning club twitter friend Sire! haha!

With Appetite's EIC Ms. Nina Daza-Puyat.
