FAB FINDS AT POIS BELLY AND KIDS + MATERNITY WEAR OOTD

The moment I found out I'm pregnant for the second time around after almost 10 years, we were ecstatic! I know it's going to be a big adjustment, big change for us, but we welcomed it with open arms. And of course, one big change for me will be my growing belly. I still want to look good, presentable while being pregnant. Since it's been years the last time I got pregnant, I'm a little out of touch when it comes to maternity wear. Haha! Scouting for the right clothes, right fabric has been an adventure for me. I want basic maternity clothes and at the same time comfortable enough to move that will accommodate my tummy and still look fashionable and trendy.

Good thing I had a chance to shop at Pois Belly and Kids thanks to Mommy Bloggers Philippines.

ZALORA SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

As much as I love Christmas season, the traffic in the metro is taking away the joy. Sometimes it prevents me from going out and doing my Christmas shopping. Good thing there's online shopping and thank God there's Zalora! You can download the Zalora app at google play store and apple app store and shop at the comfort of your home. That's what I did, and bought myself two cool shoes! Merry Christmas to me!!! Lol!

 Last January 2, the fambam went to Fun Ranch, Pasig to spend the last days of Christmas vacay before school starts. And Sofi put these ensembles to wear that day. After she decided on what to wear she asked me if it's worthy of an outfit post. Yes, she really do support my blog. haha! I remember she even write my url to her classmate's notebook and told them to visit it. hahaha!

Yes, I'm catching up! Haha! So, here's one of my Sunday's best with Sofi. This is what we wore when we went to church and had a family bonding time later that day. I'm proud that Sofi put this ensemble by herself. She asked  me if she look great lang. Yun lang yung approval na hiningi nya sa akin, haha! :P And every time I approve, she always tells me na I'm the best mom ever. Lol! Sofi wore her new vest from Minnie Mouse collection which we got at SM Kids Fashion. Cool noh? I love it also and wish to have one like that, hehe!

How I wish our weather in Manila will always be like this. Chill lang. Our weather right now-post Christmas is perfect to wear scarf, denim jacket, blazers, cover-ups and the like. And here I am, wearing a denim jacket that I wouldn't dare wear when it's scorching hot outside. Haha! And also, this Parisian shiny pair sandals is one of my fave right now! When I saw them at SM Parisian, I actually prayed na may size 5 na available. Lol! Of course I got the gold ones too. Will post them in my future ootd! :)

Anyway, I guess this is my first ootd post for 2014! Yay!!! And did you notice that I have a DOTCOM already? Woot woot!!! What a way to start my 2014, right? :)) Promise, I'll blog more often and share with you all the latest happenings in the metro + my share of my ootd's too. I'll be trying a little experiment for my blog and I hope you'll have more patience with me. Walang iwanan please. :))) 

 I'm excited for 2014! Are you? I know God has a lot of blessings and favors in store for all of us. Just believe! Like what Victoria Osteen said, "Don’t focus on what’s happened in your past; focus on what God will do in your future."

Last Sunday, we celebrated my daughter Sofi's 7th birthday. While I was looking at her baby pictures to photo grid for my instagram,  I can't believe that I have a 7 year old daughter na. Parang kelan lang when I first fed her and first time nya to taste cerelac. Look at the top left pic below, haha! Time flies so fast. It also reminded me that I have to cherish, appreciate my time with her and make MORE time to be with my family. 

And with all that's happening around us - bad weather, earthquake, tragedies and all the unforeseen incidents, let's make time for our love ones before it's too late. Let's appreciate them, tell them how we care for them, love them and hug them. One of the hardest part of life to face is regret. I hope you appreciate my reminder. tee-hee! :)

Outfit Diary: C'est La Vie

C'est La Vie - se-lä-vē. According to ma'am merriam webster C'est la vie means that's life :  that's how things happen. Even if certain things don't go as plan, let's move on and believe that better things are ahead of us. Minsan may mga bad vibes talaga, iniisip natin na it's part of life, d na tayo maka-move on. Every morning, I always pray that God will lead and guide my day para kahit may mga disappointments on the side, I know He'll be there for me (and for you too). :)

Btw, my thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by the earthquake in Bohol and Cebu. Can't imagine the devastation and fear they're experiencing right now. Let's unite in praying for them. #PrayForBohol

Sofi's Outfit Diary x Kiddy's Arts Town

Last Friday, I got the result of Sofi's monthly exam and I'm so happy that she got 100 in Mape, 100 in Math and 100 in English and line of 9 in her remaining subjects. We're so proud of her! I'm so happy that she remembered everything we reviewed. :)

And since we want to reward her, we decided to treat her to Kiddy's Arts Town. Every time we are at Toy Kingdom, Sofi keeps on begging us to try Arts Town. At dahil lagi kaming nagmamadali, I keep on telling Sofi na next time na lang. Kaya last Saturday, we brought her to Megamall and made her wish (wish talaga? lol) come true! :)

Kiddy's Arts Town is a store for art materials, but there's also mini tables and chairs for kids who wants to color their arts right away. It's a great way to bond with your kids too.

We had a hard time choosing what picture should be our first, because, there's so many to choose from. There's animals, flowers, butterflies, princesses, robots, etc. I want sana na medyo madaming pwedeng i-color, but Sofi wants a princess. 

After we pay at the cashier, the lady manning the Arts Town gave us cotton buds, toothpick, tissues and paint/colors. And of course, our chosen drawing. 

Serious at work, haha! ;P After Sofi and I discussed what color should be the hair, her crown, her clothes, we decided to make our princess blonde and we went from there. :) 

You can use toothpick or cotton buds to remove the excess paint. Since wet pa sya, dapat dahan-dahan lang, so not to remove the entire paint. 

Our next project daw, lol!

Tip: don't touch, flip over your drawing para hindi magsmudge yung mga corners nya. When you're finish, give it to the store personnel . They'll put it in the microwave or oven(?) para magdry yung paint. And tadah!!
