Freeway's First Ever Art Bag Design Contest

At Freeway, fashionalism is not just about Philippine fashion.  It’s about dedication and commitment.  This January 2013, Freeway is starting the year off right and grand by sharing its mission to champion the spirit of fashionalism as the brand launches its first ever Art Bag Design Contest.  The competition encourages young creative minds to showcase Filipino talent and fulfill Freeway’s vision to showcase Philippines Art & Culture through innovative interpretations. 

Let your creative minds and nationalistic heart work together. Submit your artwork! The winning designs will be put into production as part of Freeway’s National Artist Collector’s Series Fall 2013 in May together with the featured National Artist which has yet to be revealed. To enter the competition, submit an originally designed artwork that includes the elements of nationalism, Filipino pride or our country’s art and culture together – it can be digital image, photo of own artwork in different mediums (pen and ink, oil, watercolor, pastel and others).  All approved submissions will be uploaded on Freeway’s Facebook Page for voting which is 20% of the criteria.

Contest period starts January 1 to February 28, 2013. Submission of entries will be accepted only until February 15, 2013. Voting starts January 1 to February 28, 2013.  See full mechanics and download application form at www.freewayonline.com.ph.

 The 2 grand winners  will not only receive the satisfaction of seeing their artworks with their names on the hangtags in Freeway stores as part of the National Artist Collector’s Series Fall 2013 but each winning designer will also receive a 16gb iPad Mini and Php 10,000 worth of Freeway Gift Certificates.

Just one of Sofi's outfit when we went to SM Megamall last week. Don't you love Sofi's leggings? I really like it. Parang Christmas colors lahat. 

So, how's your Christmas, everyone? Hope you were able to celebrate it with your love ones! Just had a quiet Christmas day with my family since we've been busy with reunions/gatherings for the past days. But the amount of food I ate? Oh boy! Ang dami lang. Enough for 2 weeks hahaha!:D

Anyway, I'm actually excited for 2013. Excited to write in my Coffee Bean planner, excited to make new goals and visions for myself and for my family. How about you? What are you excited about this coming 2013? Feel free to share!

Can't believe it's 6 days to go before Christmas! Are you done with your gift shopping? I'm still halfway with my list. And with the traffic all over the metro and parang lahat ng tao nasa mall or bazaars, I hope to get everything done before Christmas. Wish me luck! :))

I had the privilege to attend the launching of  Bench and O+ android. It was held at The New Glorietta 1 Activity Center, Makati. 

I've heard about O+ android before, but it was my 1st time to know their features. You can use the O+ android with a wave of your hand and the screen will move na. Maganda sya when taking pictures. Wave mo lang hand mo sa screen, then voila! Picture captured na sya! How cool is that? :)

O+’s Android series has recently broken ground in local shores. Work and play come hand in hand in its lineup of smart phones and tablets. Aiming to make a dent in the tech-savvy market, O+ brings in revolutionary partners for the young and young-at-heart who are always on the go.

To judge the competition are esteemed names in fashion and entertainment: top designers Randy Ortiz and JC Buendia, Manila Bulletin’s Liza Ilarde, Preview’s Vince Uy, Philippine Daily Inquirer’s JJ San Juan, Philippine Star’s Christopher De Venecia PMAP President Phoemela Barranda, and Bench endorser Joseph Marco.

And I love how fashion+technology teamed up!
