As the world awaits the “Fight of the Century” between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, Jr., advocates of anti-violence against women wish to bring to light the “bigger fight” that is happening almost every day in Filipino homes – that of domestic violence.

DDB Group Philippines has collaborated with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) to shine the spotlight on violence against women to open everyone’s eyes on fights that have not been getting  the kind of attention that they should be getting.

I'm a shoe lover in real life. I believe an outfit can only be completed if a person is wearing the right pair of shoes. Correct? :)) My hubby and family keep asking me how will I wear all my shoes if I only have two feet. Haha! I think they're overwhelmed with my shoe collection. Be a Goldilocks Junior Crew this summer

Before summer vacation started last March Sofi and I were on the lookout of summer activities for her. Good thing Goldilocks invited Sofi to be one of their first Junior Crew. She was excited to be part of their Junior Crew program.

The Goldilocks Junior Crew is a 5-day, 2 hours per day workshop for kids from ages 6-12 years of age who love to learn, work, play, and have fun all at the same time and experience what it's like to be behind the scenes of the country’s number one bakeshop. 

It was a fun learning experience for Sofi and a memorable one too since it was her first time to be part of a crew.  In addition to an educational immersion store experience (though the kitchen is off limits, due to safety concerns), children will get to participate in various games and art sessions, as well as the fan favorite Goldilocks Decorate Your Cake activity.

Instax DIY Year 2

With the technology nowadays, if you'll notice our pictures are either in our phone, tablet, laptop or any gadgets except on-hand or print-out. I remember my mom keeps on complaining since she's not into technology, she wants to have an actual pic of us esp her apo's to show to her friends. She wants a real album with real pictures. hehe! Once I borrowed an instax camera from a friend since I have boxes of films from my previous instax event, we took lots of pictures and my mom happily tucked all our pictures in her purse. 

And recently, I found ways to keep our instax photos in various ways to display and bring the most precious memories with us everywhere.

Family fun at Jollitown Funtasy Land

Had a fun-filled Saturday morning with Sofi and the rest of the Jollibee Kids Club members last weekend at Jollitown Funtasy Land held at SMX Convention Center. Since it was our first time to join and attend the Jollitown, we didn't know what to expect but to enjoy everything that Jollitown organizers prepared for us. And we were not disappointed! Sofi enjoyed trying out the velcro wall, finding our way out of the maze and our highlight of our morning was meeting the whole gang of Jollitown!

Kudos to Jollibee for organizing a fun afternoon to all Jollibee Kids Club members and their families with magical summer adventure, rainbow slide and wishing well. We also explored the Funtasy Land by foot and rode the ready for action Jollitram.

My family is a fan of Taco Bell ever since they opened their branch here. I've tasted their rice meal, burritos, cheesy fiesta, soft taco, but my forever order will be their crunchy taco. haha! FTW talaga! Happy if sometimes they have a promo of crunchy taco na parang buy 1 take 1, hehe. When we were still living in Quezon City their branch in Gateway (first ever branch) was our favorite hang out. I remember visiting and eating at their Gateway branch with Sofi (every tuesday). But since we've transferred residency, we only get to eat at Taco Bell if we're in Trinoma. :( So I hope Taco Bell will open a branch in Ortigas area (paging Taco Bell). :)))

Anyway, I was thrilled to get an invite to the newly renovated Taco Bell in their Gateway branch. I had no idea that there's a ganap na renovation. I learned later on that it was their first renovation ever. And after Gateway they are planning to renovate their Trinoma branch too.

Schick and PBA All-Filipino Cup Champs San Miguel Beer meet and greet

Schick, the official razor of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), recently held a meet and greet with fans last January 29 at the activity center of Robinson’s Galleria in Ortigas Center, Pasig with The San Miguel Beermen after the team’s victory in the All-Filipino Conference Championships.

“We congratulate the San Miguel Beer franchise and its players on a well-deserved win,” says Schick Philippines’ Product Manager MJ Tiquia. “Our partnership with the PBA is all about sharing the sport to its millions of fans since basketball is the country’s favorite sport. Our involvement with the league goes well beyond basketball because Schick promotes the same virtues that these PBA ambassadors possess, which is healthy, active, and well-groomed.”

Schick gave the All-Filipino champs Schick gift packs to celebrate their victory while followers of the franchise spent the day meeting their hard-court idols. Fans also took home Schick gift packs to share in the celebration of the team’s win.

The PBA, Asia’s first and longest running professional basketball league, served as an avenue for Schick to share its advocacy towards good grooming and a healthy lifestyle to the millions of hoop fanatics.

Schick promoted its advocacies in more ways than one. Aside from Schick samples given away to PBA fans during select games, they also enjoyed sleek hard court action through Schick ‘Smooth Moves’ instant replays.
